Hello! I’m Muhtarat Green, Esq. (“Tara”). First things first – I would like to welcome you to My Wealth Lawyer, an estate planning firm dedicated to helping small business owners protect their legacies and their families. We aim to enhance our client’s lives today and secure their futures tomorrow.
My goal is to be your trusted advisor who helps you make the very best personal, financial, and legal decisions for you and your family throughout your lifetime and beyond.
I will guide you through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create a plan that ensures the well-being of your family and the preservation and growth of your cherished family assets. My legal expertise includes family protection, incapacity protection, wealth preservation, and values-based planning, as well as planning strategies for blended families, unmarried couples and single or divorced individuals.
Whether you are married or single, with a traditional family or blended one, just starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.
I graduated from UCLA School of Law and Brown University. After graduation, I focused my law practice on immigration law. A few years ago, I had to assist my elderly parents in their estate planning due to a sudden health scare resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. My interest in estate planning grew from there. In 2022, I opened Maryland Contract Lawyers, LLC, which now does business as My Wealth Lawyer. My practice is dedicated to creating authentic relationships with clients to help educate and guide them to preserve their family’s legacy through estate planning and estate administration.
I love connecting with my community and speaking to private groups on a variety of topics including incapacity planning, family wealth planning, wealth preservation, business structuring, and Kid’s Protection Planning. If you would like me to speak to any group, please let me know.
